So i am supposed to find a pug for every single quest? Thats foolish. Factions alone had what 200 or so quests? A person is going to get a pug for that? I can understand some, note some, missions, but i did most of those (as my sin) in NF with hero/hench. As a MM I am having more trouble with my healers. The henches want to heal my minions IN BATTLE, not at rest, instead of me. Finding a PUG is not the solution, if it were we would lose heros and henches all together and only be able to travel with other players. which itself is foolish, as then you have to find people that are on the same quests as you.
Crap I'm ranting......sorry.
Please make statements that are useful.

I am tired of dying because the stupid monk henchie or sometimes hero decides to heal someone that has almost all of their hp instead of me who has next to none.

Though I rarely have an MM in PvE, this has happened to me, and well, it can be irritating.
But also, a thing I noticed (can't tell if they fixed this yet) is that friendly NPC may heal enemies...
I was a lvl 3 warrior trying to kill a lvl 2 devour in front of Ambassador... uuuh.... something.... And the ambassador healed it... Then it finally hit me that I should run a little way out and kill it. Nope, the Ambassador followed lol.
But anyway, I do think you should have human monks if at all possible when you have a Minion Master. But also I see the henchman/heroes healing minions outside of battle. Generally with Orison of Healing which we all know is not an energy eater because they don't really spam it.

I've been thinking of thins and more issue... and putting 'leashes' to AI controlled creatures should fix the issue...
It would be like this:
- Click on the 'leash' icon.
- Click on the 'from' target
- Select a distance.
Then the NPC won't get far away from the target (another NPC, a point in the ground, etc...)
It would be an 'evolution' of the flag.
The distance could be set by clicking in the 'imaginary' leash (appearing green like flags) and dragging it.

Hero monks are better than henchie monks because you can set them to "Fight", "Defend" or "Flee". Henchies are always set to "Fight"

I agree with he/she! Hench monk does not need to be changed! I bring monks and MM all the time and never have to worry about that!

I don't have a problem with henchies healing minions...
But henchies do need better skill management, along with heroes. For instance...
Protective Spirit: they use this like a 32 point heal, instead of protection... they spam it when someone sacs health or takes 5 damage, but when that Invoke Lightning boss is spiking someone they don't use it...
Reversal of Fortune: one of the best skills and they just don't use it...
Zealous Benediction: meh, guess they could really care less about the <50% thing
Divert Hexes: they use it the instant someone gets hit with a single hex... same goes for Restore Condition, although that being 5 energy isn't too bad
So... /sign

What I find annoying is how the henchmen monks use skills like protective spirit on minions, outside of battle. Hero henchmen aren't as bad because you can give them some energy management skills to make up for the energy they lost healing minions.

my philosophy is....the more minions=the more allies=more meat shields=mission/quest complete
but i understand where this is coming from. when i monk i always take care of the party first, but when they are ok ill heal some minions. you have to take a look at the henchies point of view. she sees that the one minion is taking care of 3-4 monsters, so the longer that 1 minion stays alive, the longer its able to take the dmg for those 3-4 baddies. i never have any problems with the henchies healing the minions tho
